Founded by Daniela Arrecis, Metal Haus Gallery is more than just an experimental art space—it's a transformative journey. Our gallery transcends the conventional white-walled setting, inviting you into an intimate, private loft experience in the heart of San Francisco.

Nestled within the vibrant Bay Area art scene, Metal Haus Gallery redefines the way you perceive and engage with art. By reshaping the very environment in which you encounter art, we cultivate a unique space where profound and dynamic dialogues organically unfold, centered around the captivating artwork on display.

Our programming highlights Bay Area emerging and mid-career artists with a dynamic mix of solo and group shows, specializing in contemporary modern works. Our programming also includes a number of shows curated by artists within our network. Our guest curators create unique experiences and installations as part of our shows.

Established in 2020, our space served as one of the last art spaces within American Steel in West Oakland. In early 2021, new developers purchased American Steel, who would eventually kick out all artists, including our gallery in September 2022. After much searching, a new home for the gallery was found in San Francisco’s historic Mint Plaza in SOMA. Daniela continues the mission to connect collectors with Bay Area artists.

The gallery is open Friday through Sunday by appointment. On Saturdays, we host "drop-ins" from 12 PM to 5 PM, no appointment is necessary
